Hayder supported the impACT team in 2018 preparing the impACT Baghdad Popup. In 2019 he joined the impACT team to set up impACT Baghdad Chat.
Hayder H. Maala is an IT specialist as well as a lecturer in the University of Technology in Baghdad. Further, he’s the founder of Code Café, his own social entrepreneurial project. Being an active citizen is one of his main goals to serve his community and do the things that he believes in.
In the past he participated in the UNDP programme Innovation for Development and the Iraq Fellowship on Youth Entrepreneurship and Leadership with United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR).
To support the community Hayder is providing IT, systems, apps, and coding support at “Code for Iraq”. Since 2016, he is providing a training courses. Further, he volunteered in the INGO Word Merit as a Talent and Training Director.
Additionally, Hayder has his own officially registered local NGO Golden Hands for youth development and support.
